Dog walking cost calculator
Turn a per-walk price into the number that matters: the weekly, monthly, and yearly cost of the schedule you actually need. A single walk looks cheap; five days a week for a year is where people realize a dog walker is a real line in the budget.

Over $500 a month is daily or twice-daily solo walks. At this level, daycare or a different arrangement is worth pricing.

Every one of these is a place the number could be off. They are here because you should be able to check our working, not because we are hedging.
NO FEDERAL SOURCE PRICES A WALK, SO THE PRICE IS YOURS.
The per-walk price hides the schedule. A single walk is cheap; the same walk five days a week for a working year is the number that lands in the budget, and it is often more than people spend on their own lunches. Seeing the yearly figure is the point of the page.
A group walk is the usual way to cut the price. Many walkers charge less per dog for a pack walk than for a solo one, because they are walking several dogs at once. It suits a social, healthy dog and not an anxious or reactive one, which needs the solo rate.
Tips add up on a recurring service. A regular walker who has your key and your trust is usually tipped, and across a year even a modest percentage is a real line, so it is in the calculation rather than left as a surprise.
The defaults are ours and are a starting point. The price, the schedule, and the weeks are yours, and the yearly number is only as real as those three inputs.
